watchout72 Posted April 27, 2008 Share #1 Â Posted April 27, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am a owner of a Digilux 2 camera and is happy with it. Just wondering how practical is it for Leica to come up with an upgrade from its 5MP to say 8MP. I know there is the Digilux 3 etc., but I love the Digilux 2 package. krabat Posted April 28, 2008 Share #3 Â Posted April 28, 2008 There have been several discussions on this issue in this forum so far, in both German and International parts. I also love the DL2 concept, as I do the camera, and it would be great if Leica could come out with either an update, or even with a real successor based on the DL2 concept, design and lens (a larger sensor with higher ISO range, RAW buffer, improved EVF, sensor-based I.S.?). I have been owing my DL2 since March 2004, and this old Lady still does its job very well. As another forum member said a while ago, one can take away from me this camera only from my cold dead hands - except that the above mentioned real successor would come. Â Best regards, Peter.
