Guest flatfour Posted September 13, 2006 Share #5 Posted September 13, 2006 If anyone wants to see an estate managed as it was 200 years ago then I can thoroughly recommend Shugborough Hall in Staffordshire. Lord Lichfield I think would have been pleased with the way it has turned out. Not only the gardeners are dressed according to the period but they only talk with you as if they are in the period. eg. when I asked the gardener how long it had taken to get the walled garden back to its present condition.
