kidigital Posted September 9, 2006 Share #1 Posted September 9, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) A few images from a recent Brewers/Marlins game. The first three images were taken with a DMR, 180 summicron and 2x extender. The fourth is taken with an Epson RD-1 and Leica Noctilux. Thanks for looking. stuny Posted September 10, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 10, 2006 Kurt - Nice series. #1 especially is terrific with a lot of tension and action , partly due to the tilt, partly due to the batter's pose, partly due to the anticipatory catcher & ump, and partly due to the player on-deck. Terrific framing and selective focus, and as good as you'll see in the sprots magazines.
rob_x2004 Posted September 10, 2006 Share #3 Posted September 10, 2006 Kurt I take it the next up batter practices against the timing of the pitcher? So you get a few of the body doubles? With the Umpire and two batters it turns it into a fractured image in a kaleidoscope kind of a way. Good feel, but I dont like the fall off of horizon. uulrich Posted September 10, 2006 Share #4 Posted September 10, 2006 #3 is cool, Kurt. This way I like composing and framing.
