Â Once I got it home and used a little bit of BFAI (brute force and ignorance), it worked fine, and has done ever since. It just needed a firm hand connecting it to the base. I am saying this because I used it on my R8 and had the same problems with it too. Send it to Alendale for upgrade, when I got it back still Had the same problem with it. But that was a couple of years ago. Please let us know if they have rectified the problem. Thanks, Scott. Â My DMR is fitted to my second R8 bought in December 1997 and never even had a hint of incompatibility. The display is yellow/gold. It has worked flawlessly since save for one of the selector wheels falling off without warning (known defect - replaced free of charge).
