Hi Bill

Out of curiosity how many section 44 have you collected, (PM me if it is bad)?

If you write again to MP please point out that you are the sponsor of an int forums security status, but the UK res with voting status will vote with you to a person, e.g. if you want them to vote liberal, small point but one they might not ignore in the new climate.

To be fair, they are also asking for representations for bad laws that need to be reformed.

S44 springs to mind immediately, along with the DEA, which is already in their sights... Unless of course, S44 is one of those clauses that falls under the "I'm a copper, you're guilty, here's your fine" laws...

The new UK Government are to scrap ID cards. Hurrah!

But they also intend to do this

BBC News - Police to get more powers over charging crime suspects

I like the quote about 'treating police officers like adults'. It would be nice if they in turn treated adults like adults.

Hi

We voted for them, they have five year license.

She had also been back to see the previous two occupiers, so there's actually not much that's newsworthy about this.

And, it's a crap cartoon too. I had to read some of the comments to find out who the two characters in front were supposed to be. If you're going to try to satarise something or someone, at least make it clear who is being satarised... otherwise, haven't you failed in your primary goal?

Well, looks like Section 44 might be numbered after today, only leaves sections 1, 23, 43, 51, 53 and 58, will not hold my breath on any major changes in conduct.

AP seem to have a rather high opinion of themselves- "And it follows a long-running campaign spearheaded by Amateur Photographer magazine and taken up by other photographic bodies and publications, including the British Journal of Photography and the I'm a Photographer, Not a Terrorist! campaign group".

I rather thought that it was Austin Mitchell who initially floated this boat, which was propelled by PNAT, BJP and the NUJ and reported on by AP, who latterly advertised a free lens cloth in order to boost circulation .

Is Victor Blackman still on the team and do they still do those lens tests showing a ship on the Thames?
