On my hike the other day in the Santa Monica Mountains in a misty weather (which the DMR actually handled pretty well) I came across this plant. I thought it was pretty exotic, so I took some pictures. Well they were exotic alright. I found that this is a non-native species that is invasive, threatening native vegetation. These will probably be uprooted as soon as the workers get to them.

 

Euphorbia terracina (Also known as terracina spurge, false caper, etc.)
