JHAG Posted April 10, 2008 Author Share #21 Posted April 10, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I don't know, roguewave. Until now, I always avoided PC's like the plague. Don't want virus and the sort infecting my work. Plus all these bugs I constantly hear of. Having discussed Apple top machines with some long-standing users (BTW on Luminous-Landscape forum), they don't seem to complain about speed. Regarding reliability, I had several high end Powerbooks since 14 years without a glitch. True to say, my G5 2x2.5GHz had a problem last year, but Apple was quite fair with it : they changed it altogether, without being able to pinpoint the exact nature of the malfunction. Anyway, I'll be in the US in a short while, and work with a PC environment, so I'll be able to see by myself. Thanks a lot anyway for the advice.
