peterb Posted September 6, 2006 Share #1 Posted September 6, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Taken with my new LX1 and Vario Elmarit from a helicopter over the Canadian Rockies in August. Basically it's an out of the way lodge 52 Km inland from any highway that you travel to by helicopter. From there the chopper takes you to various venues where we'd spend the day hiking along ridges, exploring glaciers..you know the usual. There will be more. Hope you enjoy these shots as much as I did taking them. Peter

wide.angle Posted September 6, 2006 Share #4 Posted September 6, 2006 Interesting composition. The lake looks man-made as square as it is. Looks like this would have been a great candidate for a filter, though I don't think they can be attached to the LX1, or has someone done this? Can the haze be photoshopped out? peterb Posted September 6, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted September 6, 2006 Thank you, Hans. It's really spectacular. Thank you also Rubidium for your kind comment. Wideangle, yes the lake does look almost man-made in it's rectangular shape and all. I suppose the haze could be dealt with in photoshop. I'll look into it. Thank you for the suggestion.
