Artichoke Posted March 3, 2008 Share #2 Posted March 3, 2008 I will take the stairs this photograph's simplicity works well to tell a tale how many floors do you have to go?

peterv Posted March 3, 2008 Author Share #4 Posted March 3, 2008 I will take the stairsthis photograph's simplicity works well to tell a tale how many floors do you have to go? You have a keen eye! It's even worse than you think... I'm in a wheelchair, and the elevator is out of order at least once, every month... We never know if we'll be able to leave/enter our house. We live on the third floor, and have to be thankful we found an affordable accesible apartment. Worst thing is the two young girls who are disabled and live with their mother on the second floor... They regularly can not go to school...

cbretteville Posted March 4, 2008 Share #9 Posted March 4, 2008 Yes, we all can. I was just trying to be ironic as Leica tries to tell us the combo will not work. - Carl
peterv Posted March 4, 2008 Author Share #10 Posted March 4, 2008 Carl, Thanks for clearing that up. I know how difficult it is... I tried to have a relationship with a Norwegian woman in english for 2 years... Tusentak, Peter
peterv Posted March 4, 2008 Author Share #11 Posted March 4, 2008 On the subject, I use both the Jupiter, and the tele elmar 135/4 The Leica is unbelievably sharp on the M8. A wonderful lens to use. I like the cropfactor too. Having the possibility for a '180' on a rangefinder is a real bonus. Cheers, Peter
