Advertisement Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Hi albert, Take a look here Digiscoped Eagle . I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ankkd Posted February 16, 2008 Share #2 Posted February 16, 2008 We are planning on using a Dlux3 with the new Televid HD82 (when it comes out). Do you recommend using the straight or the angled version?
albert Posted February 16, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted February 16, 2008 Angled for me. I stand comfortably behind the set-up looking down at a 45 degree angle toward the LCD screen of the camera. I don't even know how a straight-shooter manages.
michali Posted February 17, 2008 Share #4 Posted February 17, 2008 Al- Wonderful shot! I really like it. I've got the APO77 straight version. I'm waiting for the adapter to arrive, let's see how it will manage? MIKE

albert Posted February 17, 2008 Author Share #7 Posted February 17, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks Peter & Mike. I was parked on a busy highway between the snow bank and the traffic because I saw this big-guy in a tree. I risked life and limb and couldn't get away from those pesky branches. Today 02:37 PM Peter - The 90mm & 135m , are fine for the larger animals, but don't work for birds. I'm getting really envious of all the fantastic bird pics I'm seeing posted here. stuny Posted February 18, 2008 Share #9 Posted February 18, 2008 Al - Absolutly delightful, and probaby enhanced by the branches. MAYBE it could use a touch of sharpening. Of course when I read the title I wondered if the eagle had to have an enema before being photographed.
albert Posted February 18, 2008 Author Share #10 Posted February 18, 2008 Stuart, I must STOP introducing myself as a "digiscoper". Thanks for the kind comments, Al
albert Posted February 18, 2008 Author Share #11 Posted February 18, 2008 I just noticed that this photograph doesn't look very lively on my office PC. It looked pretty good on my I-Book (at home) with the shiny glass screen........so I punched it up a bit just in case someone else might venture a glance......Al
biglouis Posted February 20, 2008 Share #12 Posted February 20, 2008 Al The punched up version is very good indeed. You are getting consistently very good results with your Televid. Excellent work. LouisB
