burkey Posted February 9, 2008 Share #1 Â Posted February 9, 2008 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm in the process to picking a Metz flash to use with my D3. I want one that's physically as small as possible with bounce. But one that will take their SCA adapter for at least some TTL capabilities. The catch is I want to buy a second SCA adapter for the same flash so I can use it on my Canon G9. Any advice and thoughts will be appreciated. I have a request in with Metz tech support but no response yet. Thanks in advance.
Advertisement Posted February 9, 2008 Posted February 9, 2008 Hi burkey, Take a look here Metz Flash/SCA Adapter - Digilux 3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
cbretteville Posted February 9, 2008 Share #2 Â Posted February 9, 2008 Smallest with SCA would be the 44MZ2, not all that small, and tilt head only. You'd need an SCA 3102 Mod4 for the G9 and an SCA 3202 Mod5 for the D3. More info here: Metz - always first class. - Â I have one I've used with my Digilux2 and M8. A good flash if you can live without a swivel head. Â - Carl
burkey Posted February 9, 2008 Author Share #3 Â Posted February 9, 2008 Carl - thank you very much for the information. A swivel had isn't that important but the bounce is. Again, thanks for the help. . . . Burkey, (David)
