Ninirtz Posted September 3, 2006 Share #1  Posted September 3, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, Thanks to my friend who was preparing the campsite (fire, cooking, bear pole...), I was working out in the middle of a river in the region of Lamar valley. No need to say that I was a little wet after...anyway, here is the result !  Velvia 50, f16 @2s, M6TTL 50mm 1.4 with circular polarizer  Best regards,  David

stuny Posted September 3, 2006 Share #3 Â Posted September 3, 2006 David - Â Remarkably sharp. Did you use a tripod or rest the camera on anything. Lovely. Was this near dusk to give the overall cool tone, which I find appropriate for the scene?
arthury Posted September 4, 2006 Share #4 Â Posted September 4, 2006 I can certainly feel the freshness of the woods in Yellowstone. I love that place and Grand Teton. Â Would you be showing us more images? Wating in anticipation...
Ninirtz Posted September 5, 2006 Author Share #5 Â Posted September 5, 2006 Thanks for your replies. I was sitting on rocks in the middle of the river, just after the rain and before the night. I had to fight the mosquitoes while setting the tripod but it was worth it. Wood was humid so no campfire for us that evening I am working on other scans from there and will post as soon as they are ready. Cheers, David
