Â Leica never made the DMR, and they have fallen out with those that did. An upgrade to the DMR just isn't going to happen. Â The R10 will be along later this year, with a fair wind. That will be in the control of Leica themselves and will, therefore, be in their control with regards to Firmware and other potential enhancements.
