stuny Posted September 1, 2006 Share #4 Posted September 1, 2006 Vic - The Kharmen Ghia was a very well assembled car made of fine quality parts, and always felt very solid when driven. However, it is just a pretty body on a low powered VW beetle, and the handling, though not bad for the era, was not as sporty as its looks. A large percentage of them had dented noses caused by careless people parallel parking in front of them.
vic vic Posted September 2, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted September 2, 2006 thanks stuart for your info. intresting if it feels as bettle car. this was my first, and ttrue - not a sports car like i love now, but defently something that i alwasy remember :-)))) from this periouds of cars (vintages), and from what i can afford at this stage is only the alfa spider. but not now, i cannot start making car collections now :-))) maybe in the future. the big dream with vintages cars is ferratri gto i suppose, but there are e-type, lotuses and jaguars and many many more :-))))) but first i would like (really desire) to own a new lotus or porsche, then we can get on with collections :-))))))
