Guest tvleeskr Posted February 2, 2008 Share #6 Posted February 2, 2008 After 76 years the shutter is still accurate. Batteries not required:D Base plate is slightly leaking though. And the summitar indeed has very soft contrast. Next time I'll use the Elmar. Leica II s/n 81891 Summitar 5cm/2.0 s/n 761999 Welcome, dear visitor! Bateleur Posted February 10, 2008 Share #9 Posted February 10, 2008 It took a while before I could print, for which my apologies, but here is a selection of my crop from a good day in Rotterdam. Guest Joachim_I Posted February 17, 2008 Share #14 Posted February 17, 2008 Lot's of good stuff here! The pictures of tvleeskr and Bateleur look like they were produced half a century ago. I very much like the combination of high contrast and grain Bateleur has chosen for the harbour scenes. Michiel, I must have overlooked these wooden doors. I like them a lot. The guy with the MP and the DR Summicron somehow looks familiar ... Well done everyone. I hope we can have a similar event again some day. Best, Joachim
Bateleur Posted February 18, 2008 Share #15 Posted February 18, 2008 My last contribution ... should have mentioned though that the film used was Ilford HP5. Thanks again to everyone for a good outing! Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Alberti Posted February 19, 2008 Share #16 Posted February 19, 2008 Bateleur, Those B&W make me jealous! Such - indeed - old fashioned - enlargements, of the grain so to say. alberti
