Advertisement Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 Hi wide.angle, Take a look here Carefree. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted August 31, 2006 Share #2 Posted August 31, 2006 Scott - This is very promising, but I can't tell for sure on my inferior work monitor. I'll look again tonight from home. Good catch and concept, regardless.
wide.angle Posted August 31, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted August 31, 2006 Stuart, thanks for looking. I am using a new Macbook pro and just the LCD on it at home, and that's where I adjusted the colors to the slide before uploading. It has a lot of color depth and a beautiful slightly orange cast from the evening sun. When I looked at the photo on my work PC, I don't see near the color depth nor the beautiful orange cast on the grass and distant tree. I also did calibrate the Macbook pro LCD screen (though have no way to verify if the calibration is correct), I'm wondering if everyone else sees the photo the way I do on my mac? I also noticed that the profile on it was not sRGB, but something else from Lightroom (I'm reviewing this software for better workflow).

stuny Posted September 1, 2006 Share #5 Posted September 1, 2006 Scott - I finally got around to looking at this on my home monitor. All of my objections are now gone -- The problem was my work monitor. Good catch, concept and execution.
