I'm curious to know if a Leica SL body with 50 SL summilux attached would fit in the sling with a 2nd lens or a q3?

The SL sling is designed for the SL series of cameras but would like to know if its uncomfortably heavy with the set up above and awkward in practice?

I have tried the regular sling with an M body with lens attached + 1 lens and it was sweet.

Would love something similar but for the SL camera.

So it seems the SL Sling is the large Sling. My (medium) sling hosts an SL3 + 75 APO attached with a little space left unused and a second lens like another APO or so. I don't have the Summilux so I cannot tell.

The medium Oberworth sling (6L) is the best sling I’ve ever used. It’s also double the price of the others as well.

I find it supremely comfortable and extremely practical. Normally It can carry a body and a couple of primes but generally I only use it to carry 3 lenses and some accessories. The build quality is great and I love the wide comfortable strap. The sling mould well to your body shape. The upgraded clip is excellent.

The strap is too long to make it usable as a hip bag but if you shorten it (easy to do if you know someone handy with a needle) it also makes the most comfortable hip bag I’ve ever used as well. I only buy slings that can also be hip bags as I like to get as much weight off my shoulder as possible on long days out.

The only downside of the bag is that it’s not very weatherproof. It’s also easy to overload to the point of being too heavy.

If I lost/damaged mine I’d replace it immediately.

Thanks for the response Gordon 👍

Are you using the bag with M cameras and lenses or SL gear?

How do you guys find the inside zipper? Do you think it can potentially scratch up the cameras and lenses? I saw the new version that was recently released doesnt have it. I'm also glad they redesigned the bag and made it open from the body outwards!

SL and Hasselblad gear, mostly. Usually, I just carry extra lenses. I don't generally put cameras away in bags. I prefer a camera over my shoulder.

I've had no issues with the zipper rubbing on gear.

Thanks for letting me know 😊. Are you finding it okay in use with the SL + 75? Not too heavy or uncomfortable in with just the support of the single shoulder strap?

Here you have it. It is definitely ok. Weight was not a problem so far, but I only had it out once since I bought the bag. They have changed it such that the main zipper is now against the body (just like with the "Pure").
