estenopo Posted yesterday at 01:46 PM Share #1 Posted yesterday at 01:46 PM Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello. There are many opinions on the forum about the 1928 Leica Ia, later chromed. I have this one, number 5530, and it raises many questions for me. The engravings are very faint due to the (glossy) finish on the top and bottom plates. I don't know what kind of finish it has; it doesn't seem very smooth. Otherwise, I believe it's authentic. Any opinions would be appreciated. Welcome, dear visitor! With exception of focusing knob (and chrome plating) camera seem to be in original condition I agree. Chromed, but, otherwise, more original than most from that era.
