Recommendations for a first 35mm lenses? I was thinking of the Voigtlander Ultron 35mm f2 as a first one, and then save a little bit of money to get the Summicron one.

Any other accessories you recommended like straps etc. if it's needed? I haven't received the camera yet, so I can't really know what is needed.

Any other tips about this camera? I'm very excited about this one.

I might have gone for a cheaper M body so I could afford a Leica lens (even used).

What about the Voigtlander 35mm f2 APO Lanthar?

Yes, I would advise a solid, easy to use strap, you want to be comfortable and be sure your M10 doesn't end up on the floor.

I have a rope strap on my M and a Peak Design on my SL2-S.

Maybe an extra battery?

The M10 is arguably the best digital rangefinder, while there are a lot of excellent lenses at lower than Leica prices, so I also invested in the M10. There is nothing like it from other manufacturers. I've used Leica since 1968, however I no long buy Leica lenses. The last Leica lenses I bought were the Summarit f2.5 series. Before then I had Summicrons for decades and a few Summilux, but the small Summarits were special, and I love the handling and results.

More recently I've mainly bought Voigtlander. On my M10R I now use the VC Nokton 35 1.5 for its small size, handling and performance. I've used the even smaller Nokton 35 1.4 (v2) and still use it on film.

On my M10 I usually used the Summarit 50 2.5 as the M10 does so well at high ISO more lens speed isn't needed. However, I recently got the new VC Color Skopar 50 f2.2 which I think out-does the Summarit: tiny size, great handling, focuses to .5m, comes with a nice small hood, and flares less than the 50 Summarit.

I haven't tried it, but the Ultron 35 f2 likely outperforms the Nokton, and would be an excellent choice for the M10. Go for it! If you eventually want to try a Leica 35, fine - but you may still prefer the Ultron when you compare them.

Each lens has its strengths and weaknesses. I chose the Nokton f/1.5 as it was fast, almost as good as the Summilux 35, and frankly it was value for money. Voigtlander makes great lenses and at 35mm you can't go wrong with whatever you pick.

Try it at a store and don't read too much into reviews.
