Black Friday temptation's nightmare 🙂

I own a nice M11 (and a few lenses 21/35/50) and an "old" Nikon D7200 (+ a few lenses). I was planning to upgrade my Nikon equipment for an hybrid camera system next year (based on a Panasonic S5 II or Nikon Z6 III).

And now I see this offer : SL3-S + Vario 24-70 + Vario 70-200 for 6500 euros... That's expensive but it seems to be an unbelievable offer... I wonder if it's possible without a mistake from the onlineshop (known and reputable). I have asked them if they were sure and apparently yes...

Go or No Go ?

Yes, seems incredible low price, but i am usually very careful with incredible low prices.
There is a similar offer in Switzerland from a private person
SL3 + Vario-Elmarit-SL 1:2.8-4/24-90 ASPH + SF 64 flash, all barely used for 7600 ChF
I am not Interested as i don't need a SL3 but considering the price it's incredible low as well.

New or used?
Can you go there and see and hold the gear in your hands?

If new even more incredible low.
I would take the decision if you can live with the "quirks" of the SL3 or prefer the Z6 III what has some advantages over the SL3-S.
Basically it depends mostly for what photography wan't the camera, for wildlife or sports or when weight is a consideration.
The S3-S gives you the possibility to use in manual your M lenses while the Z6 to reuse your Nikon lenses.
I find my Nikon D800 superior in ergonomics and AF than my SL2, but really love to shoot with the SL2 and my Sigma lenses.
Should i want/need a additional camera then i probably would choose the Z6 III and a tele zoom.

Whether it is an "unbelievable" offer or not, it's still a lot of cash, and you will be carrying a lot of weight. I would go for the Nikon or the Panasonic. Also, M-lenses work perfectly on a Nikon, and the advantage of the Panasonic is that you can use the L-mount lenses, should you ever buy an SL.

Personally, I think that the SL3-s is still not where it should be in respect of performance.

Weight? A Panasonic S1ii weighs 40 grams more than an SL3.

Don't forget to add the mentioned lenses. Anyway, I would go for the Nikon.

get sl3-s alone for probably around eur 4000 - 4500 or even less, ditch those inferior lenses.

The SLs are better than the Nikons if you want to use your M-Lenses. The Z6iii's autofocus will be better for anything fast but the question is whether you need this. The price is of course tempting - but only if you do need these lenses. I am sure they are great but you probably know they are based on Sigma lenses. Some actually say the Sigma 24-70 version II is better than the Leica (search for it). I finally sold my Z Nikon stuff and bought a used SL3 and some used lenses. YMMV.
