SL SVE 16-35mm Lens Hood

Hi All,

Following the incredibly sad loss on my SL 16-35mm SVE lens hood I’ve been searching desperately for a replacement with no joy whatsoever. I’ve emailed Leica Germany, spoken with Leica UK and even ordered one via Leica Store Manchester who claimed to have one in stock, they didn’t.

So my questions are…. Does anybody have one they’d like to sell? Alternatively can anybody recommend a 3rd party replacement possibly an 82mm screw in hood? 
 

I’ve been shooting without for a few weeks now and I definitely do require a hood due to flare.

If you haven’t already, I would recommend reaching out to the folks at Leica Store Miami. They seem to be able to order replacement parts but it may take time.

Thanks for the info, I’m based in the United Kingdom but will try them as I’m somewhat desperate.
