That's certainly an option, but in my decades of experience with forums vs. official customer support channels the forums win 19 times out of 20 for expeditiousness and the amount of useful information. Are you looking to sell the one you have before Leica service is closed out? Most manufacturers announce when they are going to close service for a particular model, typically to their registered users if not to the public at large. I was a member of Olympus professional services at the time when they were going to close out service on the E-1 model ... They notified members, suggesting that those still using the already obsoleted model should send it in for a final CLA by such and such a date. (I took advantage of that, even though my E-1 didn't need service then nor has it needed service since... that was around a decade or so ago.)
