21mm super angulon 3.4 lens cap help

I’m trying to find a lens cap for just the lens without a hood. Did they offer a cap for just the lens? Are there any other lens cap that would work?

I think there has never been an original cap for the lens. Without the hood I know only an old clip on cap with 49mm from canon which fits, the modern Leica clip on caps with 49mm don‘t. May be there is an old 48mm push on cap for R-lenses which may fit.  For the hood the cap 14480 for the 3.8/18mm Super-Elmar fits (I think you still get it from Leica as a spare part).

Seems to be wrong:

An old catalogue lists a plastic cap 14102 with 52.5mm diameter for the Super-Angulon, the 28mm Elmarit and the f/1.2 Noctilux.

Sorry, I didn't realize that your question was posted in the R-Forum, so you seem to mean the Super-Angulon-R. As I don't know the lens, I don't think my proposals for caps are the right ones.

It’s a tough one, the lens diameter is about 70mm

The Leica "Handbuch" from 2001/02 mentions the 14232 cap for the 1:3.4/21mm Super-Angulon-R. The same cap was used for the first version of the 90mm Summicron-R. Both had 70mm filter threads.
