My last digital M was the M10. Sold it about 6 years ago and took a needed hiatus.

Yesterday, I decided to return to the M and walked into a local Leica store for the first time. The one here in my area was located in the most upscale shopping area amongst boutiques like Omega, Gucci and LV. When I walked in, it felt like a jewelry store although the B&W posters were interesting and, of course, the display of the historical Leica M bodies in exquisitely constructed display cabinets were more than attractive.

As of now, I'm embarking on my M11-P journey after my historical walk with the M6, M8, M9, M-240, M9, M10. I still recall sharing and crafting techniques and tools used to code lenses for the M8. That was quite a Leica village effort but it was fun.

Now, I'm waiting for my 35mm Summicron-M APO to arrive today so I can have some fun.

Cheers to all the usual suspects here in this forum and to the newer friends,
