To will find that sponsoring members will be on 11-12 and others at 9-11, depending on detail and noise Both will produce an excellent on-screen quality. You don’t need to use the resolution slider, that is without function in this context

In this instance, however, perhaps due to the quantity of fine detail inherent in each image(?) I was twice given the 'File-Size Too Large' warning and elected to downsize the pairing because, in the end (and as mentioned in the text), there really was nothing detrimental to be seen at screen-res which would show any decline of detail under the circumstances relevant to the situation. The original file size as captured / processed-out in TIFF format was 51 Mp. To reduce two frames from this original file to be posted in one 2.4 Mp post does, therefore. require a "drastic" reduction in IQ as stated in my earlier post. Hopefully that all makes sense and explains matters? Philip. Edited August 28 by pippy
LocalHero1953 Posted August 28 Share #23  Posted August 28 Just read this thread for interest, but my comment is on a totally irrelevant matter. I like the wonky horizons in the OP's photos when combined with the angle of the beach-sea edge. If it were mine, I would print it with a greater clockwise tilt, and mount it on one of our walls as a discussion piece 🙂. (I can see you smiling nervously and sidling away from me).

I see what you mean! Perhaps Mike's subconcious self noticed this phenomenon and averaged-out the angles to create a more balanced composition?... 😺 Philip.
