SilerBerend Posted August 18 Share #1 Posted August 18 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently bought my D-Lux 8. I also have a Canon 5d mk2 and used to have a canon m6mk2. I have never liked the way Adobe processes raw files. Therefore I have been using DcRaw and LibRaw to process my Raw files to liomnear Tiffs, adding a camera profile after that and then adding an s-curve. But when I use LibRaw or Rawtherapee on my Leica DNG files I have very many random artefacts on my processed picture. (Please find an example of the red artefacts produced with a low level raw interpreter, in this case RawTherapee attached.) This does not happen with Lightroom or even with ON1. I like the look of the camera jpg from the Leica very much and that is the look I am searching for but in Raw processing so I have optimal tweaking possibilities. I have created camera icc and dcp profiles for my D-Lux8. Anyone else experiencing this problems with processing Leica raw files? ANd how to solve it? Welcome, dear visitor!
