With this last picture from Riva Trigoso ends the brief visit to this nice little place, where I enjoyed some live music and the wonderful atmosphere in a typical Italian place at the sea. The next day brought me directly to the Cinque Terre - a place I had on my bucket list for a while already.

As promised, here come some pictures from Cinque Terre. I travelled there early in the morning and was able to park my car in Monterosso del Mare. From there I walked to Vernazza. I was glad to make this tour on a day with overcast skies, but on my arrival in Vernazza I happily jumped into the sea, as I was soaked from sweat. The way back to Monterosso I used the train - although this two minute ride cost me 10€. On my next trip to this place I will hopefully manage to visit the other three villages.

While on my way to Vernazza I overheard a couples conversation. The young man, with his Sony camera mentioned my Leica to his girlfriend and I approached them for a little talk. He was happy to hold my camera and I agreed on a picture of me, although I was already soaking :)

After my visit to Cinque Terre I headed westward and enjoyed another lovely evening at the sea:

The next day I woke up to a slight drizzle on my tent. I managed to get something for breakfast before I was bound within my tent for two hours because of a heavy thunderstorm. My tent showed its incapability to cope with severe rain and I had to wipe up a good quantity of water that tried to put my inner tent to test. Afterwards I quickly packed my belongings and went straight to Monaco. When I arrived there, the rain fortunately ended and I viewed some of the known places in this slightly surreal city. Of course I drove with my car on some of the streets, that are known from the Formula One races, e.g. the hairpin bend at the casino and the tunnel at the waterfront. I won't show any more car pics here, as I already put most of them in another thread in this forum.

While going with my car through the city I realized how crazy it must be to ride on these tracks in a full trim race car :)
