Dogstream waterfall is reached from Hanmer Springs thermal resort ion North Canterbury. Reached after a very strenuous vertical walk with an elevation gain of about 400m in freezing weather. Indeed, the waterfall is sometimes frozen in midwinter but not this time. Sphagnum moss is especially lush here. Welcome, dear visitor!
