I'm on a deal to buy either a Summicron 35mm Type 4 "Bokeh King" or the Summicron 35mm Asph. I'm using M8 I have the following questions 1) I read a comment from a review that Summicron 35mm Asph lens hood is not made to work with M8?? Any ideas on this? does it block the view? 2) Are all Asph version 6 bit coded? 3) Is the Bokeh King noticeably smaller than the Asph? Thanks! Erik Gunst Lund Posted November 11, 2012 Share #62 Posted November 11, 2012 No real problem at all using the 35 Asph on M8 The shade is square and 'closed' so it cuts a little bit of frame when you look through the viewfinder.
