luisdent Posted August 6 Share #1 Posted August 6 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I've perused the forums and Google but haven't found a good solution for this. I want to sometimes use an nd or cpl filter on my q3 but the square hood screws on. What a PITA. 😛 i love the square hood, but does anyone know a hood solution that solves all of the following: - allows fast attaching and detaching of filters - isn't any bigger than the square hood - allows a cap for protection with and without filter attached I can use a filter with no issue, but i need to constantly remove the hood, attach the filter, remove the hood, remove the filter, attach the hood again... Etc. ad nauseum. Edited August 6 by luisdent

Dr. Marc Posted August 12 Share #4 Posted August 12 Hi Folks, does the PolarPro allow the use of a circular polarizer or variable ND filter? Thanks!
Dr. Marc Posted August 12 Share #5 Posted August 12 OK, please forgive me - I'm new to the Leica Q3 series. I've got the Q3 43, and I just saw that the PolarPro is not recommended for my camera. How about the Freewell Real Lens Hood specifically for the Q3 43? Has anyone tried it, and if so, what are your recommendations? Thanks!

Their website also indicates it is compatible with both Q3 and 43.

Myrr Posted September 4 Share #11 Posted September 4 FYI Tekiac is not shipping to the USA at the moment - in the meantime, if you're looking for their Q43 filter, you can get it from Leica in the UK - https://leicastoremanchester.com/products/bw-ultra-slim-clear-protection-filter-for-q3-43?_pos=1&_sid=01c7af730&_ss=r
