Check what is switched on, and turn off what you don’t need. All those features, like preview, post view, WiFi, BT, Fotos etc chew up battery capacity and therefore generate heat.

If you don’t need them, dump them.

Mine tends to get warm when it’s pretty hot outside.  Not in an obvious “hey it’s hot out and my camera is just as hot too” kind of way.  More that the internal heat doesn't seem to dissipate as fast and it’s gets noticeably warmer than ambient when it’s in the mid-80’s°F or warmer.  Hasn’t seemed to be a problem so far though.

I found the reason for the hot camera. I was shooting in AF-C, and whenever I would hold the shutter button half way down, I could hear the AF lens motor working. That resulted in the camera heating up. Switching to AF-S or iAF alleviated the problem.
