Is anyone experiencing a low quality EVF resolution when using the magnifying? I'm wondering whether I have a problem or whether Leica have gone for the same EFV format as Sony's hight res EVFs. It's no where near the resolution quality of the SL2-s.

It doesn’t happen on my SL3, so I assumed the lower resolution in the EVF of my SL3s was due to the limitations of 24mp.

My previous SL2s had also 24 megapixel

And my present SL2S too - absolutely nothing wrong with the magnified LCD/EVF rendering. despite 24MP.

I noticed the same difference after upgrading from the SL2-S to the SL3-S. One possible explanation is that the SL3-S offers an additional zoom level—three magnification steps instead of just two. The reduced quality might come from that final step, which provides higher magnification.

I think you are right. I just tried to magnify only two steps on SL3-S and didn’t see the pixelated image. But I don’t have SL2-S side by side to compare and I don’t even remember how many steps I could magnify into with SL2-S
