ChumChum Posted July 12 Share #1 Posted July 12 Advertisement (gone after registration) Is anyone experiencing a low quality EVF resolution when using the magnifying? I'm wondering whether I have a problem or whether Leica have gone for the same EFV format as Sony's hight res EVFs. It's no where near the resolution quality of the SL2-s.

jiggyb21 Posted July 18 Share #3 Posted July 18 It doesn’t happen on my SL3, so I assumed the lower resolution in the EVF of my SL3s was due to the limitations of 24mp.
Lev55 Posted July 18 Share #4 Posted July 18 My previous SL2s had also 24 megapixel

Lev55 Posted July 18 Share #6 Posted July 18 Yes, with the SL2s was nothing wrong but with the SL3S the magnification looks pixelated
Elliot Harper Posted July 18 Share #7 Posted July 18 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I observed the same pixelated image via EVF on my SL3-S when magnified. I don’t remember if SL2-S had same issue or not since I sold it Edited July 18 by Elliot Harper
simon_hsn Posted July 20 Share #8 Posted July 20 (edited) I noticed the same difference after upgrading from the SL2-S to the SL3-S. One possible explanation is that the SL3-S offers an additional zoom level—three magnification steps instead of just two. The reduced quality might come from that final step, which provides higher magnification. Edited July 20 by simon_hsn

But I don’t have SL2-S side by side to compare and I don’t even remember how many steps I could magnify into with SL2-S Edited July 20 by Elliot Harper
