I recently purchased this camera because it met all my requirements for a small walk around camera.

What interested me most is the fact that the lens in combination with Capture One is 19-75mm instead of 24-75mm according to a review i read online.

Now, however, a problem has arisen.

I work with Capture One 12 for Sony because I normally work with a full frame Sony camera A99II.

And it now appears that the DNG files from the Leica D-lux 8 cannot be opened in this version of Capture One.

I thought that DNG was universal, but now it appears that Capture One for Sony can only open DNG files that have been converted from Sony RAW files.

I have Capture One 12 for Sony on an older IMAC operating system that still works perfectly for all my needs.

I cannot install a more recent version of Capture One pro.

Is there a way to open the DNG files from the Leica D-lux 8 in my version of Capture one or some other solution?

PS I also have an older version of Lightroom 4 and there i can open the DNG files without any problem, but i prefer to use Capture one because of the 19-75mm possibility and the overall experience with CO.

As the name indicates your C1 version is especially for Sony users and cameras. Besides using other programs as Jaap suggested you could buy the „unbundled“ (not Sony specific) version of C1.

I work with MacOS Sierra ( 10.12. ... ) on an older IMAC.
I can't update to a newer version of Mac OS and my combination still works perfect.

So i am looking for Capture One pro 12.1.5 ( the last version i can install on Mac OS Sierra ) to replace my C1 for Sony.
Because of the older Mac OS version i can't install the newest C1.

I also can't install ON1 for the same reason.
I have Affinity photo version 1 but i need the possibility to batch process my pictures.

Guess, you won't find the version of C1 you need for your OS.

C1 since then has done a complete change to its product including pricing.

Affinity Photo in its actual version allows for batch processing of images through its Batch Job feature, enabling users to apply the same edits or adjustments to multiple files simultaneously.
