Michael Geschlecht Posted yesterday at 04:21 AM Share #2 Posted yesterday at 04:21 AM Hallo Andreas, Ich muss diese auf English erklaren. A polariz.ing filter is a sandwich made of 2 pieces of glass with the polarizing material in between. All pressed together. Sometimes the polarizing material between the 2 glass pieces degrades & needs to be replaced. Sometimes when this happens the filter can look like the filter in your photo. Some polarizing filters can be opened & new polarizing material can be used to replace the old degraded material. Grusse, Michael
