On Trinity Sunday the choir of Trinity College and music director Stephen Grahl take to a raft of punts and sing on the River Cam opposite the Wren Library. Starting at 9pm, they go through dusk into full darkness. The last song, Wilbye's 'Draw on sweet night', is sung as they drift down river out of sight.

The acoustics and sound are terrible, but the choir is superb, and the setting unbeatable.

All shots taken with the SL2-S and Sigma 85 f/1.4
The ability of the SL2-S to hold its colours in near darkness is remarkable.

ISO 5000 With hindsight I should have stopped down a bit for greater DoF and exploited a higher ISO
