deekay Posted June 15 Share #1 Posted June 15 Advertisement (gone after registration) I remember reading somewhere that Leica has a 24-105 in the pipeline. Does anyone have any information on this?
Advertisement Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Hi deekay, Take a look here SL 24-105 coming?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
LD_50 Posted June 15 Share #2 Posted June 15 I’ve seen something on Leica Rumors months ago but it only mentioned the possibility of being a copy of Sigma 28-105 or Panasonic 24-105. You can pick those up today.

phojomatic Posted June 18 Share #5 Posted June 18 I think it would be unlikely bc they just announced the 28-70/2.8 as a compact zoom. maybe at one time the 24-105 was considered, but every Leica release with exception of the 35/50 Asph primes has been based on Sigma. As a casual all day carry around zoom hiking and sightseeing definitely not for dedicated landscapers or wildlife types I imagine but can’t say as I’m an enthusiastic amateur having found my happy level (SL2S) I often chuck in the 100macro 2.8 as well as it weighs nothing but the close focus of the 28-200 is pretty good tbh other kit 16-35spro and 70-300s which have been used less often though I have a sift spot for the 16-35spro and its manual clutch
