romanus53 Posted June 14 Share #1  Posted June 14 Advertisement (gone after registration) Dear friends, please share your knowledge on these item: looks like a TZOON but has no shoe for mounting a finder. What is it, kind of TZOON or just an extension tube? length is 62,5mm, tripod-thread is 3/4'', so one can use any of the PLOOT-lenses directly on any body. But does that make sense without the possibility of mounting one of the Telyt-finders? Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted June 14 Posted June 14 Hi romanus53, Take a look here strange TZOON or extension tube?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
dg4mgr Posted June 15 Share #2  Posted June 15 A similar tube existed for replacing the Visoflex II, the Leitz 543195. It was made for use on a microscope, where the finder is not needed. This is also why the number is 6 digit. Maybe the tube you have is also for Microscope work with SM Leicas?

Thank You for poniting me in that direction, I didn't thought about the combination of microscope with Leica, I will have to look for that.
