Hi, does anyone know if manually selecting lens in SL2 menu using a non Leica adapter will the lens corrections be done in camera ? I just looked and don’t see Noctilux 1.2 lens profile in Capture One.

only 6bit coded lenses in combination with Leica M adapter can apply some correction in the camera.

the Noctilux 1.2 is an old lens I don't think they have a correction for that in the camera, I don't know if the reissue has 6-bit coding.

Capture one does not have 1.2 lens correction.

I just did an image search. The reissue has a 6-bit code.

6-bit coded or not, it doesn't matter. Capture One doesn't support 1.2 version of the Noctilux lens profile.

Most software doesn't have the 1.2 version.  My understanding is that the original was made by hand and every one was unique optical anyways.

the in camera profile under Capture One is "Manufacture Profile"

I see big differences with Noct 0.95, and some wide angle lenses like 21SEM
