polycarp Posted June 9 Share #1 Posted June 9 Advertisement (gone after registration) Previously i was a user of the Fujifilm XH2 and it allowed me to do self portraits. There was a tracking focus of sorts but for the SL3 i can't seem to do it. I picked continuous focus as well as eye/body tracking + timer. Am i missing something in the equation? You could shoot video with AF active and pull stills. I don’t know of any way to do this to shoot photos without the phone app or a remote release. S Maclean Posted June 10 Share #4 Posted June 10 If I remember correctly the auto track AFC + (Face detect focus) does not work through the app. I kept setting it up and then it kept revertint to AFS You can focus and take the shot but it won't track you. Frustrating. Someone suggested I use capture one for that, but I can't just add a whole other workflow for just that purpose.
LocalHero1953 Posted June 10 Share #5 Posted June 10 You need a selfie drone. A little friend to follow you around.
