Advertisement Posted September 1 Posted September 1 Hi Ted Lemon, Take a look here Caution: No Delivery or Refund from Overgaard After 4 Years. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Jeff S Posted September 1 Share #22 Posted September 1 I’ve posted this several times, as well as the La Vida Leica article (now apparently inaccessible) that called him out 8 years earlier (as noted via an apology in the Leicaphilia article). There seems to be several separate elements with Thorsten. He spoke at a UK Leica Society weekend event some years back and he was very good. A number of people joined to be able to attend his session. He was very personable and good company in general. I have found his website content interesting and helpful, and of course free. Well healed photographers seem to enjoy his Workshops. His little business sidelines are close to being a disaster and unfortunately create very legitimate causes for concern. Just saying FWIW
Ted Lemon Posted September 1 Share #24 Posted September 1 (edited) I get that, Pedaes. I found some of his YouTube videos quite entertaining. Bought a very nice strap from him years ago that has improved with age (unlike me) - but went to buy another one last year, and it didn't arrive as promised. I received my money back via PayPal's complaint/refund process. By the way, I would never have paid for a workshop with him; I was never quite convinced that it would be beneficial. Ted Lemon Posted September 8 Share #30 Posted September 8 Then perhaps it was sarcasm badly described as irony.
3D-Kraft.com Posted September 17 Share #31 Posted September 17 Am 8.7.2025 um 20:23 schrieb Overgaard: @M-Lens-Seeker You can always get a refund. In this case it is a preorder, and it has taken considerable longer to get it finished. So - after more than 4 years - you finally got it "finished"? On the website it is still advertised as "Pre order now. Be the first to get it." for "Only $798.00" - and when you click on the "ADD TO CART" button, the next surprise: Now it costs 1098$
Bliz Posted September 18 Share #32 Posted September 18 Lmao 1100$ to use a lens, definitely gives substance to part of the clichés about Leica users.
