I do tend to differentiate between bags to carry my gear during the international journey and bags to carry it in when working with it. &nbsp

I don’t generally find that the two distinct needs are best served by a single bag.

I have a few Billingham bags, such as the Hadley Small Pro,Hadley Pro 2020,and Billingham 35.I traveled to Namibia with four lenses,a Leica M11,and an M246.Considering the weight and sand protection,I eventually chose the Billingham 35.It turned out to be the right choice. The camera didn't feel like a burden throughout the trip and provided great protection.

How was Namibia?  We are going next March...  did you ever feel unsafe with your Leicas at all?

The website is up to date and there is a contact form, so just ask https://www.foggbag.com

Thank you, Sir. The website did not escape my attention 😁, but I am unsure whether it was actually refreshed recently.

I already own two Fogg bags and given their durability, I guess there is no need for me to add more. What I read is that there seem to be supply issues more recently. Robert White for instance lists all of them but has none stocked. That was different some years back.

Well, you do know it was just Nigel and bee producing the bags, and bee died suddenly which left Nigel devastated and production halted.

As I said earlier, Robert White has the full colour range of the new 'Can Can' bag in stock.

My favourite travel bag is a Billingham Eventer 2.

That’s what I use as a travel bag because it will also hold stuff for the trip like headphones, Kindle, meds etc etc.

纳米比亚怎么样?我们明年三月要去……你有没有觉得带着徕卡相机不安全?

Namibia boasts unique landscapes that are well worth a visit. The country is sparsely populated, generally friendly, and maintains good social order.I didn't feel unsafe carrying a Leica camera. But since it is a Leica,it's always a good idea to be appropriately cautious wherever you go.

Well, thanks for everyone's input.

I ended up buying from a "pre-owned" reseller 2 of the Leica lens end "couplers".   As long as I don't try to connect the 28mm and 35mm to the same coupler, I'm good.  I sleeve them in microfiber glasses cases before putting in the bag.   There is now actually plenty of room in my gently used and well built decade old Crumpler 5 Million Dollar Home bag.  I've always liked the functionality, size and look of this bag.  Whether storing 4 lenses off the camera or 3 + 1 on the camera, even the 90mm, the case carries all I need easily.   Maybe at some point in the future I explore some of your other recommended bags?  Then I can post another "not another camera bag post?" racking up pages of useful information.

I came here looking to buy a bigger bag, ended up with 2 couplers and get to use a bag I've always enjoyed using... and saved a few hundred bucks in the process.

Another easy solution is using a simple divider that’s made for vertically stacking and protecting lenses (shelf-like). I have several of these that can be Velcro-ed into a variety of bags, as desired.

If your lenses tend to stay in your bag, get some desiccant canisters and spread them around your bag.  I DO NOT recommend storing lenses in leather cases.  Leather can absorb moisture and can cause fungus if you’re storing lenses for years!  I’m glad you saved money withe the crumpler!

That's how I do it.

Peak Design Sling 3l. I bought an additional folding divider and can fit an M with a lens attached and 3-4 additional lenses (90mm is too bis for the folded department). Recommended!
