If by rangefinder window you mean the small window on the left (looking from the lens side of the camera), then there is a light shield that fits around that window. If it is missing or defective or incorrectly installed, light would leak there. There are other light shields around the camera, of course.

Precisely! The technician didn't mention anything about the lightshield. In fact, this was the first CLA the camera received after ~60 years. So I assume the shild could be simply misaligned? For the record: The leak was there before and after the CLA, I only noticed it much later.

In your picture of the curtain through the back, the bottom of the curtain looks more "slack" than the top. Looks like uneven tension on the curtain ribbons, which males the problem worse towards the top of the picture. This needs more than a brake adjustment to really set it right.

You have a very good eye, the curtain is indeed not 100% straight. Thank you for point this out! What do you think the reason could be?

what Tom noticed is that the closing curtain in lower part is a bit lose. This is how shutter  looks like: each curtain has 2 ribbons, they are glued on the other end to the roller. In your case curtain marked x is affected, lower ribbon shall be spanned a bit more and glued again. This is complicated, nothing what you can do at home. It requires complete dismantle of the camera, so full CLA. However I am not sure if this is worth to do. In the situation as it is now slit in lower part is a bit wider than in upper part, frame in lower part will be a bit more exposed than in upper. I do not think that it is noticeable on the picture.
The other possibility is that there is some dirt on upper ribbon of the closing curtain and this casues that is is being wound a bit more when the shutter runs. But if you give camera to technician anyhow, let them check it as well.
On rare occasions a wrong brake adjustment may cause similar effect
