Besten Dank vorab! Alex

TomB_tx Posted May 14 Share #2 Posted May 14 1. I've tried my original "2-cam" Leicaflex SL lenses on my R3 mot electronic, and when you stop-down the lens with the aperture button it will show a matching shutter speed in the finder, but mine isn't as accurate as with a converted lens. 2, Getting parts to convert the lenses to 3-cam is a problem, as Leica sold all their R model parts years ago. About 10 year ago I sent one of my 2-cam SL lenses to have it upgraded by a well-known independent Leica technician. After a year I asked about it and she reported they were still trying to get the parts. After another year it was returned with a 3-cam set installed, but they had replaced the lens mounting flange with one that wouldn't fit the Leicaflex SL - so I had to modify the mount to be able to use it on both cameras. Ricky_the_Joker Posted May 15 Author Share #3 Posted May 15 Thanks for your response Tom! I just realized that the 70-210 is a 3cam 🤩 so everything works fine with that one. and about the summicron, I think I will just try it out with the aperture button and see how good that works. Maybe someday I’ll find another SL…but I kind of like the R3
