Does anyone know a good alternative for MPB?

What I like about MPB is good pricing and ease of use.
But experienced some issues last time.

(Jaap, als deze in verkeerd forum staat wil je ‘m dan verplaatsen? Dank.)

In my experience, the best options are the Leica stores and Leica Classic websites, (you might have to look at a few different countries), or you are looking at more direct options like individual camera stores in different cities, web forums or ebay. Places like MPB are popular for a reason...they are easier. There is also the option of direct stores in Hong Kong, like RangefinderHK etc.

Great advantage of MPB is the free shipping and free returns within Europe.

Trading from USA or HK would be a big hassle due to tax and duties.

And am looking for a store to trade earthly equipment iso just Leica.

But thanks for the suggestions!

MPB are willing to take it off your hands and have it in stock for however long it takes to sell, and offer a warranty on what you've sold them. If you can do better and feel it's an easier transaction or less likely for comeback try eBay.

For Leica stuffs, try Leica online store or many Leica authorized stores. For example LEICA I. Manchester or Vienna or Switzerland. My experience, if it is available from Leica online  store, it is likely the best price and quality.

(Jaap, if this is in the wrong forum, could you please move it? Thanks.)

My personal MPB experience in buying and selling cameras has been entirely favorable.

However I was recently looking at a Leica on their EU/France site and while it was listed as "excellent" it also mentioned that the protective coating on the rear viewfinder was flaking off.

So, I do not consider that to be "excellent" condition.

As for alternatives here in the EU, I regret I don't know of alternatives. If there are Leica stores selling used gear, I am unaware of that. Sorry.
