Hey guys!

Forgive me if this is a silly question.

I bought a cheap Pentax film camera at a thrift store with a lens and it has this half case that snaps on to a complete surrounding case for travel.

I almost bougt an ever ready case for the Leica Q but that one didnt come off, meaning youd have to have the part that surrounds the whole camera underneath the camera while shooting and it wouldn't fit me.

Pardon my English do you know what I mean? Anyway, I'm looking for the type of case that the Pentax had, a permanent half case that clicks on and off to a surrounding one. For /or Leica Q 116, M240 and Leica SL2.

Leica made an eveready case for the M240 with a removable top cover.  I know bc I have one for each of mine.  The lower part also has a flop-down rear LCD cover held up by magnets.  It's for the original 240 which does not have a frameline lever but I think they made one for the 240p as well.   I never used the top covers and tbh rarely use the half-case bc like any leather half case they add considerable bulk to a camera I chose in major part for its compactness.
