Doc83 Posted April 22 Share #1 Posted April 22 Advertisement (gone after registration) I'm considering purchasing a used M10 Monochrome (Type 246). I'm finding some conflicting information about the camera's specifications. More specifically, my question is: were all M10 Monochromes produced with 41 MP resolution? Or, were earlier versions 24 MP?

Dazzajl Posted April 22 Share #2 Posted April 22 The 246 was the model before the M10m, and that’s the 24mp one.
AceVentura1986 Posted April 23 Share #3 Posted April 23 @Dazzajl is correct. The last mono w 24 mpx was the M246. The M10 was introduced with 24mpx (I own an M10P w 24 mpx) but the M10M was introduced with 41 mpx. The color M lineup was later changed to include the M10R which does have 41mpx. So, the color M10 came in two resolutions but that There was NEVER a version of the M10M w fewer mpx.
Jeff S Posted April 27 Share #4 Posted April 27 (edited) The M10 Monochrom and M10-R were both 40.89 MP, the result of being derived from the S3 sensor architecture. The M (Type 246) Monochrom was the monochrome version of the M (Typ 240), both 23.94 MP, since being derived from the S007 sensor architecture.
