brickftl Posted April 19 Share #1  Posted April 19 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I got from eBay a mint used Summilux 50/1.4 pre-asph version 3. I did a visual inspection but found out I could upload various images to ChatGPT and have it do an analysis, both as to any defects in the optics and also lens centering. In case anyone is interested, here are 2 links that I posted on Fred Miranda. First is where I posted results of inspection to determine any lens defects, and second is where I posted results of lens centering test. https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1860074/6#16798095 https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1860074/6#16798327 Edited April 19 by brickftl 1

ken_nyus Posted April 22 Share #2 Â Posted April 22 Very interesting. It would be good to feed it images from a defective lens to see what it says.
