kiwidad Posted April 12 Share #1 Posted April 12 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) It may not be the battery at fault, in fact I am sure it probably isn’t ! when I change batteries the exposure settings revert to default. is this normal? Advertisement Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Hi kiwidad, Take a look here Sl-2 battery problem. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
HoodedOne Posted April 13 Share #2 Posted April 13 Huh, this is weird but I've a similar strange situation, with my pre-owned SL2-S. After charging the battery in body, my settings for the evf changed from evf extended to just evf. Reading this post just reminded me it happend (twice) after charging the battery through the usb connection. Since then, I also charged the battery in the charger without any weird problems. jaapv Posted April 13 Share #3 Posted April 13 Often people forget to save their settings in a user profile. Unsaved changes will get lost when the camera reverts to the default settings.
