Oxfordian Posted March 30 Share #1 Â Posted March 30 Advertisement (gone after registration) Late yesterday afternoon the courier delivered my SL2 and 50mm/f2 Summicron and I have to say that I am delighted with my investment, both the camera and lens were advertised as 'Like New' and I have to say that they look brand new not a mark on either item. The previously purchased Q3 was the catalyst for the move to Leica, I have enjoyed my DSLRs from Canon and Nikon along with the Mirrorless offerings from Nikon and Fuji but the step in the Leica environment has been eye-opening. It is difficult to explain how natural the Q3 and SL2 feel when holding them, it seems that I have owned them for many years yet until February I'd never even held one in my hand, I suppose that this is the euphoria of having something new to use but I have had the Q3 for 6 weeks and picking it up to take out with me still puts a smile on my face. The menu interface is so logical to use compared to the other cameras I have owned, I only had a couple of queries to check out via the on-line manual. A few pictures out on this morning's dog walk are all that I have managed so far but I am hoping to get a few more shots along the coast path this afternoon, I sense that this is a brand switch that I am going to enjoy in the years ahead. I am looking forward to posting some pictures in due course. Cheers from a very happy Leica Owner. Â Â
