I ended up buying the plain old SL2-s and not the Reporter. Same camera, lower price, matches my SL2 so it meets my needs. I don't plan on trading either the SL2 or SL2-s for the SL3's but who knows what the SL4's will bring. Then again, the rumored M/EVF (or whatever it will be called) sounds interesting.
